Special Mention by the "Sapienza" University of Rome to Marina Zannella

Marina Zannella, Vienna Institute of Demography, Austria, has been honored with a Special Mention by the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) to her PhD thesis "Economic life cycle and intergenerational transfers in Italy: the gendered dimension of production and the value of unpaid domestic work" in the framework of the 2014 Doctoral Thesis Award presented by Sapienza University Press. In her thesis, Dr. Zannella used the National Transfer Accounts (NTA) and National Time Transfer Accounts (NTTA) method to estimate a complete account of resource reallocation between generations and genders for Italy in year 2008.
