Work Package 1

Objective

This work package will explore publicly available comparative datasets and apply them in creating National Transfer Accounts for all countries of the European Union. The database will go beyond standard NTA methodology in that it will include data disaggregated by gender, socioeconomic status (income percentiles or education level) and country of birth.

Key deliverables

• D.1.1 Complete NTA database for most recent year for each member state
• D.1.2 Complete NTA database for most recent year for each member state by gender; EU-SILC and HBS based age profiles by socioeconomic group and EU-SILC based age profiles by country of birth
• D.1.3 Complete retrospective NTA database
• D.1.4 Public availability of deliverables D.1.1 through D.1.3, guidelines to use the database and manual of NTA methodology
