Work Package 5

Objective

This work package will build an OLG-CGE model based on NTA and NTTA data, which is capable of simulating the effects of reforms in the public tax-transfer system both in reallocations from the active to children and from the active to the elderly.

Key deliverables

• D.5.1 Research report / paper on the necessary variables to be tracked in the retrospective analysis, based on past experience on modelling
• D.5.2 Research report / paper on the new estimates of the relationship between savings and demographic structure based on NTA
• D.5.3 Research report / paper on the results of the projection model applied to the first country case
• D.5.4 Research report / paper on the comparative results of the 3 pilot countries, Austria, Sweden and Spain
• D.5.5 Research report on the projection model detailing its functioning routine
